Page on Paul's first AC80/100 updated.
It's clear from pictures that have emerged, that Paul's first amp was given a new grey panel at JMI and reboxed in one of black-fronted thin-edged boxes that John and George were issued with in August 1964. The "something" on the back panel underneath the mains socket is a fuse-holder.
It may be that work was done to The Beatle's amps in April 1965. For the NME Pollwinner's Concert, AC50s were used with the Beatles' Mk 1 cabs and trolleys.

The Mk2 amp that sold on ebay in the UK three weeks ago has reappeared on ebay - serial number 1115 - registered here.
Page on Thomas Organ to be updated. It looks as though most of the AC80/100s with serial numbers in the 300s, and most early 100W amplifiers with serial numbers in the 500s were sent to the USA for sale. These presumably went in large batches (by ship), to be distributed to the main Vox dealers in the USA.
The same may have been true for amps with serial numbers in the 400s, but examples with numbers higher than 430 have yet to come to light.
