VOX DEALERS in the USA
On this page is a growing list of Vox dealers extracted mainly (though not exclusively) from local newspapers, music magazines, and the "Vox Teen Beat Magazines" issued by Thomas Organ in 1966. Some dealers are known to have supplied AC100s (marked with a red asterisk) - for others, info is at present lacking.
The normal denomination is "Exclusive Vox Dealer", though one sometimes finds "Authorized" (as on the dealer banners issued both by JMI and Thomas Organ).
Initially, the line of distribution was (in the main) the existing Thomas one. Thereafter things expanded quickly thanks to the promotional efforts of Marv Kaiser, National Sales Manager of the "Vox Division". Marv is pictured in the first issue of Teen Beat magazine (early April 1965) - available here.

"Billboard" magazine, 7th October, 1967 - a travelling party to Europe. In the UK they will have seen the JMI solid state amps at the Russell Hotel Trade Fair. The dealers named in the article have not been incorporated below yet (not in their entirety, at any rate). The intention is to provide dates and sources for the existing entries first.
