Serial number 1049 with its D4 speaker cabinet. a superb set. The amplifier section is of the earliest known type: plain metal fascia; preamp assembly separate from the other electronics; and a rear panel with sockets, fuses, and mains switch (arranged as on early Jennings J40s). A later J100 (standard later construction) can be seen on this page. Visible component date codes range from March 1968 to May 1969.

The D4 speaker cabinet has four Celestion T1217s (16 ohms, 25W handling apiece) wired in parallel for a total of 4 ohms, date codes indicating manufacture in mid April 1969.
